I've never stayed in a guest house before. Is it safe?

For many customers this is their first guest house stay too. Staff are on call 24 hours to help with any problem. Please come and stay with confidence.

Is it OK for women traveling alone?

Yes, women traveling alone are welcome. The dormitory rooms are specially designed with beds forming three walls, creating a safe, capsule type arrangement.

What are your check in and check out times?

Check in is between 3pm to 10pm. If you need to check in after 10pm, please contact us in advantage. Check out is 11am.

Are there bath and toilet facilities?

Yes, shared facilities are available. There are two lockable showers providing privacy on the 2nd floor. There is a single toilet on the 2nd floor, and two toilets in the 1st floor café area.

Are towels, shampoo and soap provided?

Shampoo and body soap are supplied free. Towels can be rented for ¥100. Toothbrushes can be purchased for ¥50.

Are meals included?

A. Meals not provided, however, a self-catering kitchen is available including fridge, IH cooking heater, toaster, microwave oven and various cooking utensils and condiments can be used for making your own meals if wish. Free instant coffee, and tea bags are available 24 hours a day. Donﾕt forget, the 1st floor is café restaurant ready to serve you from 11:30am from until 11pm!

Are there any convenience stores or a sento bathhouse nearby?

There are two convenience stores and a supermarket about five minutes walk away, but there is no sento nearby.

What facilities do you have in the rooms?

All beds have reading lamps, electric power outlet, shelves, hangers, and towel rails. The guest house provides free Wi-Fi throughout.

Is there a curfew?

Not really, however if you come in late, you may disturb other guests, so please be quiet.

Do your rooms have internet access?

Yes Nishiasahi provides free Wi-Fi throughout.

Can I store valuables in your safe?

Yes, wallet, computer and other valuables can be stored on site. We have security number-type safes available.

Is Nishiasahi smoking or non-smoking?

Nishiasahi is all non-smoking inside, although there is a smoking area available on the 1st floor.

Do you have a coin laundry?

Yes, a washer and a clothes dryer are available. The automatic washing machine is ¥ 200 per wash (includes washing powder) and the clothes dryer is ¥100 for 30 minutes.

Do you have a car park?

Nishiasahi does not have a car park, but there are many coin parking areas in the vicinity.

Nighttime rates (8pm - 7am ¥100/hour (Maximum ¥400)
We cannot offer service tickets for parking.

Can we leave luggage with you before and after check in and check out?

Yes, you can! Enquire at the 1st floor reception desk.

Do you provide a copy service?

Yes, at the front desk. Black and white copies are ¥10 and, color copies are ¥50 per copy.

Can we send packages in advance by courier?

Yes, we can accept your packages. Have them sent to: (your name and check in date) c/o Nishiasahi, 1-6-3 Nagono, Nishi-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. 451-0042.

Before sending, please note the following: Please contact us by e-mail on (info@nishiasahi.nagoya) in advance of items arriving. We can only accept receipt of guestsﾕ items two days ahead of the check in date. Nishiasahi will not accept Charge On Delivery items.

Is there an age limit?

Children under ten years of age are not accepted in the dormitory rooms. If you have children under ten, please book a private room.
