From Meitetsu Nagoya Station:
If you arrive in Nagoya by Meitetsu Train, please find Central Gates.
After you walk out of the gates, you will see short stairs.
You’ll see lottery stand on your right at the top of the stairs.
This stand is one of the famous ones in Nagoya,
you sometimes see a long cue especially in the end of the year!

After you walk pass the stand, you get outside and turn left there.
You’ll see a big intersection with a silver corne monument.
*After this, you’ll follow the same route that starts from JR station.

From JR Station:
There are several gates to get out of JR Nagoya Station and you basically want to find “Sakura dori side” doors.
Here, I show you the way from Shinkansen Track North Exit.
After you walk pass the tourist information center,
you follow signs for “Subway Higashiyama Line” and “Sakura dori side”.
You’ll find escalators and a golden clock.
This clock is one of the popular meeting spots for Nagoya people.
Easy to spot out but not easy to find your friends here as so many people meet here!
You’ll see “Sakura Dori Side” doors.
You’ll see a taxi rotary and a big intersection with a silver corne monument.
You walk on the right side of the rotary and get to a crosswalk of the intersection.

*From here both route from Meitetsu Nagoya Station and JR Nagoya Station follow the same way.
You see a lot of constructions going on around Nagoya Station area
as a maglev train station will be built in Nagoya in the future.
Ok, let’s cross this big intersection.
After you cross the road you go left and fins PRADA on your right.
Keep walking straight with PRADA on your right.
You see “Dai Nagoya Building 大名古屋ビルヂング” on your left on the other side of the street.
It’s just rebuilt.
Brand new!
After you walk pass PRADA, turn right (just follow the street you’re on).
Walk walk walk…..
After you walk for 5-7 minutes,
you get to a big intersection called “Hijie-cho 泥江町” and you see a highway above.
You cross the intersection and get to Nagoya International Center, the tall building at the intersection.
You’ll see Entrance #2 for Subway station Nagoya International Center (but don’t go in!).
You walk to with the entrance on your right.
You turn left at the corner of the parking entrance.

You walk a street with old style houses.
You find a cafe and a bar…….
and a diner …..
a temple…..
a small small bar street
You’ll see a covered street ahead
Then you find NAGONOYA (Nishiasahi)!

20 minutes walk from Nagoya Station.
You start from a street with tall office buildings and finish at a letro atmosphere street.
